The process of matching a young person's needs to a program that will meet those needs is complicated.

N.P.S. clients may expect the following services through a consultation agreement:
  • Initial consultation to discuss situation
  • Crisis placement (if needed)
  • Professional records review
  • Interview of child (optional)
  • Coordination of Formal Assessment
  • Conceptualization and Recommendations
  • Collaborative formation of an intervention plan
  • Guidance and advocacy through the application process
  • Coordination of parent visit to programs and discussion of impressions
  • Guidance in program selection and transition
  • Advocacy as needed for duration of the service contract
